Salary £24,023 to £25,130 per annum dependant on experience plus benefits
Full Time

My client is a well-established, growing charity retailer. They currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the position of Retail Store/Shop Manager for their store based in Bangor.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will take responsibility for the management of the Bangor shop, volunteers and customer services ensuring best representation of the charity on the high street.

This support will include the processing of donations, gift aid, stock density and rotation, retail supplies and new goods, and the use of resources such as online sales to improve profitability. You will maximise revenue using your commercial flair, ensuring the operational costs of the shop are covered and a profit contribution is generated.

You will take responsibility for the line management, motivation and performance of staff and volunteers, being a firm but enabling leader who sparks enthusiasm and performance.

Store Manager- Experience Required:

  • Previous Retail Store management/ Supervisory experience ideally within charity retailing.
  • Experience of EPOS systems and Gift Aid.
  • Experience recruiting, retaining, and developing volunteers.
  • Experience of leading and line managing others to develop and grow, building and maintaining a high performing team culture.
  • Energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude.
